It’s reality TV. The NY Times reporter described it perfectly. It’s all about putting together a production. As if the world outside doesn’t exist. We don’t need a functioning State Department because this is the Truman Show. Fox TV and Steven Bannon write the script outlines. Trump ad libs. White House staffers wander around, competing for face time. Family members are the producers. Putin is the sponsor. They watch the ratings.
