In case you missed it, punk Sean Spicer made an effort at a mic-drop yesterday, then ran away like a little coward.
At the very end of his press conference, in a few words, Spicer cited the story of the theft of Tom Brady’s Super Bowl jersey:
“I am very happy that the individual in the press corps who took Tom Brady’s jersey, that that has been returned properly,” Spicer said with a smile. “Another bad on the press, but we have righted that wrong.”
(Apparently stadium cameras showed that Mauricio Ortega, an executive at the Mexican newspaper, La Prensa “snuck” into the locker room before the media was supposed to come in, grabbed up the jersey and walked out). Spicer then said something like “bad on you” to the assembled WH reporters, and stalked out.
Some reports called it “a joke.” But Spicer is a whiney lying little brat who famously hates the media and has been ridiculed on SNL for his hostile and defensive behavior. By “we have righted...” it is unclear whose work Spicer is trying to claim credit for. Oh, wait, he’s a Patriot fan. I guess he confuses his own pathetic identity with that of his heroes.
In the world of dick moves, that was almost up there with those of His Orange Dickness; in fact it may have been scripted by Him.
